Privacy Policy

Last updated: Oct 10, 2026

This policy explains what information I & J Intelligence LLC collects when you use HaulCount, why, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Account information: your name, business name, email address and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password. We never store the password itself.

Business profile, if you add it: address, phone, USDOT and MC numbers, truck description and base state.

Records you create: loads, brokers, rates, miles, expenses, reminders, and the photos or files of receipts and documents you upload. Documents such as a CDL or medical card can contain sensitive personal details; upload only what you want stored.

Technical information: your IP address, used briefly to limit repeated login attempts and abuse, and the push notification address of your device if you turn alerts on.

2. How we use it

To run the Service: show your records, calculate your summaries, send the reminders you asked for, process your subscription, keep accounts secure and answer support requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your records for advertising.

3. Companies that process data for us

Hosting and database providers store the Service's data on our behalf.

Stripe processes subscription payments. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers.

Anthropic processes receipt images when automatic receipt reading is used, only to extract the receipt fields.

Your browser's push service (Google, Apple, Mozilla or Microsoft) delivers alerts if you turn them on.

An email delivery provider sends account emails (confirmation, password reset) and the reminder emails you can turn off in Settings.

When you authorize accountant access, the verified email you choose can view and export expense and load records, including notes, for the period you select. Expense receipt files are included only if you enable them. Access expires after the chosen duration and can be revoked. We record when access was last used. Revocation cannot recall copies already downloaded or printed. You are responsible for choosing the recipient and agreeing how they handle your records.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

4. Cookies and device storage

We use one cookie to keep you logged in and one to remember your language. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

The app stores your theme preference on your device, and, when you have no signal, the receipt photos waiting to be uploaded. Those photos stay on the device until they upload.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account exists, including after a trial or subscription ends, so you can return to it. When you delete your account from Settings, your records, receipts and documents are deleted from our active systems; copies in backups expire on their normal schedule.

6. Your choices and rights

From Settings you can correct your information, download a copy of all your data and delete your account.

Depending on where you live, for example California, you may have additional rights to know, correct or delete your personal information and to not be treated differently for using those rights. To make a request, write to soporte@haulcount.com.

7. Security

Data travels over encrypted connections, passwords are hashed, uploaded receipts and documents are encrypted before they are stored, accounts can reach their own records and files or records explicitly shared with their verified email, and access is rate limited. No system is perfectly secure; use a strong, unique password.

If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you by email without unreasonable delay, as the law requires.

8. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18.

9. Changes and contact

We will post updates to this policy here and notify you of significant changes. Questions: soporte@haulcount.com.
